The current office in El Campo, Texas opened in February 1968 and still serves as the headquarters. In 1989, NewFirst’s original expansion outside of El Campo occurred with the acquisition of Security Bank and Trust Company in Wharton, Texas. NewFirst’s second expansion took place in 2001 with the opening of a branch in Rosenberg, Texas. In June of 2005, NewFirst again identified a growth opportunity in Victoria, Texas and opened a full service branch. Since 2005, branches have been added in Sugar Land, Needville, and Edna.
